Put the fun in fundraise!
Over the years Act4Africa and its supporters have taken part in many fundraising events, both local to our office in Greater Manchester and beyond. This year is no different with a range of sponsored events to choose from across the UK. Events for 2013 are listed below and for further information about securing a place or for how much fundraising is required, please email Alison at the Act4Africa office on alison@act4africa.org or call 0161 941 1435.
Greater Manchester Marathon - Sunday April 28th, 2013
The Greater Manchester Marathon is the UK’s flattest marathon with only 55m of elevation gain so it’s the perfect race to achieve a new personal best. And for Manchester United fans there’s a little treat as the race village will be located at the football club’s ground Old Trafford.
RideLondon-Surrey 100 -
Sunday August 4th 2013
August will see a cycling challenge like no other when some of London’s and Surrey’s roads will be closed to all but 20,000 cyclists who will be following a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race. This new event offers a unique opportunity to become part of cycling history and celebrate the legacy for cycling created by London 2012. RideLondon aims to be the largest charity fundraising cycle race in the world. * We have now filled all of our Ride London places and you can read about and support our team members here.
Coast to Coast - May 31st – June 3rd
